The 2012 North Coast Breast Cancer Conference is presented by North Coast Cancer Foundation. It is strongly attended by many of the region’s healthcare professionals.
The primary goal for the conference is to be a trusted resource of information and educational opportunities for as many individuals as possible who have been touched by cancer, and their families, friends, and healthcare providers.
The North Coast Breast Cancer Conference will provide attendees with the most accurate and timely information available regarding the complex issues related to breast cancer and to inspire participants to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and advocate for high-quality breast care and health.
Our hope is that attendees will leave the event feeling more informed about their health and the myriad complexities of breast cancer, more empowered to make healthy lifestyle choices, and stronger and more hopeful from their experience of attending the conference.
Proceeds from the North Coast Breast Cancer Conference benefit the North Coast Cancer Foundation. North Coast Cancer Foundation (NCCF) was established in 2007 to provide education and ongoing support for those affected by cancer in Erie, Sandusky, Huron, Seneca, and Ottawa counties in northern Ohio.
Successful initiatives include Community of Caring programs such as Art Therapy, Yoga, Scrapbooking, Nutrition & Wellness program and the North Coast Breast Cancer Conference.
The NCCF is a tax-exempt charitable organization under IRS code 501(c)(3).
NCCF seeks to provide:
- Financial support for uninsured and underinsured cancer patients;
- Education for patients, members of our community, and fellow healthcare professionals;
- Complementary therapies where appropriate for patients and their caregivers; and
- Research opportunities to improve patients' outcomes
