Objectives
At the completion of this CME activity, participants should be able to:
• Discuss treatment and prevention of breast cancer using physiologic estradiol therapy.
• Discuss the history of modulation of estrogen action in the treatment and prevention of breast cancer.
• Identify good candidates for partial breast radiation.
• Describe the surgical and radiation techniques for treatment.
• Describe patient outcomes after treatment based on prospective clinical trials
• Discuss the methods used to develop individualized treatment plans.
